Thanks to Chris AKA Lizard, for directing me here. This site is going to be dedicated to my wonderful modeling hobby, and those who support me with my modeling habit....ummm I mean hobby. Thank you to all of the FSM familly who are going to crawl all over this site, give me hints and tips on a regular basis, and who are overall a great group of people to converse and spend quality time with!! Also to my girlfriend Ambo, who supports me 100% with everything and anything I do!!! I hope everyone enjoys. |
What's New
Tamiya Con was a blast!!! My brother Pat and I both went, and we really had a fantastic time. My brother was truly inspired and bought two kits himself from the sales tent. His plans are to build with me when he comes down to visit. We will be going to a couple of shows in the next couple of months, and I will keep this section current as to when and where. Next weekend....Wings Over Gillespie Airshow in El Cajon, CA. Pat, Casey, and I will be going next Saturday...it should be a blast!!! Are you going to the Nats?? Perhaps I'll see ya there! My girlfriend and I are both going, and we will be there from Wednesday to Monday. My plans are to enter the F4U-2 Corsair I'm building for the USMC GB, the Mercedes CLK GTR, and the original Morris Mini Cooper. The Mini is being built for my Girlfriend in honor of her support for my modeling. It will be an outlandish design, a bit girlie, but not too much. I think it will turn out nice. Until then, see ya on FSM, and hope to meet some of you next week!!! |

Request Vertol H-21 CD
Vertol H-21 Flying Banana CD
I created a CD-Rom with a series of pics of the Vertol H-21 that was recently in my hangar for some avionics work. On the CD is over 400 pics in 8 different categories, icluding great engine detail, interior pics, and cockpit photos!! This is the only flying H-21 left in the world according to the owners. Do you want the CD??? It's really easy to get.....I am taking trades for the CD.......anything related to Aircraft Squadrons is game.....I want patches, pins, stickers, etc. from anywhere in the world!! In Progress
I am going to keep 5 builds going at all times. Currently in Progress is the Tamiya 1/25 Mercedes CLK GTR, Tamiya 1/48 F4U-2 Nightfighter, and Tamiya 1/24 Mini Cooper. Do you think I like Tamiya?? Just in: Trumpeter 1/35 Mi Hind!!! Lovin this kit!! The newest idea is what I am calling the Top Secret "Mini-Cycle" Project which is a Mini Cooper converted to a three wheeled prototype. It is my first major conversion. I'm putting the bonanza, skymaster, and A-10 to rest in their boxes while I build up my skills. The Bonanza and Skymaster both have the thickest windows in the world!! I've been picking up some tips on how to make my own, and how to make 'em look more realistic. These kits will be revisited in the future. Just completed the Tamiya 1/25 Acura NSX!!!
